I installed the software for an HP C7280 wireless all-in-one printer. I found that I could not send anthing to the printer after installation. I also found that I can not use a browser to get to the printer interface with the IP address, nor can I get to my Linksys router interface with the 192.168.1.1 IP address.

I have deactivated the firewall and virus software, added the IP as a trusted zone and still can not enter the Linksys router nor the printer.

I can however, ping both from a command prompt and get a response. Something is blocking my ability to use either IE or Mozilla from getting to the interfaces. Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have spent many hours online and on the phone with HP with no success.

Are you attempting to access via a wired or wireless connection because 192.168.1.1 looks correct for a Linksys router. You should be able to confirm this if that is the same IP address as the gateway when entering ipconfig /all at a command prompt. Perhaps you need to reboot or reset the router to defaults.
