My computer started runnning very slow,so I wanted to reinstall Vista Home Edition. After installing Vista again, my computer is still running very slow. It takes a long time to check e-mail or just to even open a page. What can I check next to fix this?

Here is what I have.
Intel Pentium D 2.66 Ghz
Radeon X300
1.00 GB of Ram
Never had any issues before with pages loading or computer being very slow when searching on the internet.
I was just checking my Local Area Connection Status
IPv4- says Internet
IPv6-says Limited
Is that supposed to say limited?
What can I do to fix this if it is wrong?
Thanks.

You can add a GB of RAM. Running Vista with 1 GB is like trying to run the Boston Marathon with your legs tied together...

I have never had any issues with this computer running so slow.
It is just taking forever for pages to load.

Vista should not crawl with 1GB of RAM. Heck, I've used it fine with 512mb.

Vista Home Premium. No eye candy at all. Have all that garbage turned off
