Panasonic SDHC and Windows XP SP3

I bought a 6Gb Panasonic SDHC for my Nikon D60.

It works fine with my camera but I can't access it via windows.I'm using a built-in Multi-Read card reader that is included in my laptop(Acer 5100). I searched MS and I found that I need to run a patch. When I tried to install it, it told me that I'm running the most current Service Pack and I don't need to install it.

Is there anything else I could try?

It isn't just a software thing...for HC cards the reader/hardware has to be able to handle them as well.

looks like I need to dig around ACER. This would be my assignment tomorrow ^_^

well buddy dont dig too far. about 15 dollars in a trip to wally world should be fix things just fine
