how do you start windows in safe mode?

yeah I don't know how to get into safe mode in win 98 http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif anyone want to tell me how you do it?

When you boot the computer tap the [F8] key every second or so until you see the boot menu. It usually works when you see Starting Windows or Verifying Pool Data.

Hold down the [Ctrl] key while booting.
