I have a couple of unmatched SIMMs and I need to identify what kind and size they are. Is there any site out there that has a reference for this kind of information. One of the modules has the word POWMEM and has 16 Panasonic MN414400CSJ-07 chips and the other has 8 - SEC KM44C4100AJ-7 chips and the words G.T. Copyright. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a nice page
http://members.aol.com/mcapage0/memorypd.htm

There's plenty of info out there. Use the search engines!

Good goin' herbert, about the only thing I could find was on the Kingston (http://www.kingston.com/tools/bits/bit11.asp) memory page, they have an ID guide for their generic memory, tells you how to interpret the numbers.

All the other hits the search engines brought up were sites that sell memory, but none tell you how to identify it.

Try to exclude sellers. I use -buy -.com or whatever in the search string.
