Mouse message

I installed a usb mouse on my system and it works fine except occassionally on startup the system displays the connect mouse message and the usb mouse does not function. How can I correct this?

I can only tell you that it can be done. It involves modifying your start-up files like win.ini or another file of that nature to where you can have the usb support loaded for use outside of windows. You'll have to wait for someone with the knowledge to reply though.
