uninstalled cd rom how get it back

Some how I uninstalled my cd rom and sounds how can I reinstall THANKS ANDY

CD: Open Device Manager in Safe Mode and remove the CD ROM from there, reboot and let windows find and install it. If it doesn't reinstall automatically , use the Add New Hardware wizard in Control Panel. In some cases you'll have to manually choose the hardware if it doesn't find it.

Sound...Check Device Manager, and see if your sound card is still there, if so just reinstall the drivers. Highlight the sound card and click Properties, then the Driver tab, and click the Update Driver button.

If the sound card is not in Device Manager, boot into Safe Mode, remove all sound devices from Device Manager, reboot and windows should find and reinstall it.

Remove and reinstall the two devices separately, to avoid unnecessary problems.
