is it worth it, when I'm looking to play blu-ray movies, games (such as gta iv, gears of war, bioshock) and have general hassle free day to day running etc. My only concerns are about vista, battery life (at 2-3 hours), the HDMI port (with me not yet being HD ready ) and the general concern that'll regret buying a rather expensive paperweight

Processor: AMD Turion RM-70 2.0GHz (800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache)

PS: I did find some more detailed specs if anyone needs them but I’d appreciate it if anyone could give me a general perspective as I’m not really up to date with laptopies.

Well I’ve gone for a recon-vaio, with less memory and a slightly worse graphics card even though it costs the same amount. Hopefully I’ll have a more refined machine (although if the experiences of people I know are anything to go by this won’t be the case). It should arrive next week.
