INTERNET KEYBOARD SOUND KEYS DISPLAYS

WHEN I TAP THE KEYS TO INCREASE DECREASE OR MUTE THE SOUND ON MY KEY BOARD THE SOUND BUTTONS WORK THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THEY USED TO SHOW UP ON THE DISPLAY SCREEN ON MY MONOTOR AS LITTLE BARS INCREASING DECREASING OR AN X OVER A HORN SHOWING THAT IS IS MUTE NOW THE DISPLAYS ON THE SCREEN ARE GONE HOW CAN I GET THEM BACK ON THE MONOTOR

What kind of computer do you have?

If it is a HP then in the HP tools folder is a program called "keyboard Manager" that allows for some configuration of the O n S creen D isplay.
Have you changed your windows background colors lately? Because you could have made the background the same color as the OSD. The color can be changed in "Keyboard Manager"

Also in the control panel -> keyboard the keyboard manager tab may show up. Most other computer brands have similar ways of configuring those extra keys. (usually through the control panel)

I HAVE A COMPAQ PRESARIO 7594 AND ON SETTINGS THE KEYBOARD SETTINGS DOES NOT HAVE ANY WAY TO DO WHAT I NEED DONE
