When I saw this I went to check for updates and it was already in the middle of downloading the update. :)

New release 3.0.10 has just been released, fixes some regression bugs that can cause crashes.

Sweet! I just updated to 3.0.10 in Ultimate Edition and it solved my no sound in flash video issue. :) The UE and Ubuntu forums said it was an issue with FF, I guess they were right.

I experienced some crashes with the most recent update prior to this one. Hopefully no more..

JL,
No sound aye? Was it in black and white? And did you have to peer through a little 'looking glass'? ;)

Haha! :D No. And I didn't need to insert any quarters either. :p

I got my first spyware on firefox today. It was a popup and said 'scanning your pc for viruses.' It was in my taskbar tray as well.

I got hijackthis and removed it but it was weird to see firefox fail. :D

Any graphics using browser can be compromised, but Firefox with No Scripts extension is pretty darned resistant to this, and so is Opera browser.
FYI some of the the rogue spyware out there can even do the popups saying you are infected ON LINUX systems. Of course the purported Windows infection does not take hold on the Linux PC.
Do post HJT logs and run security scans if you encounter this stuff when running Windows.
