Next, I would like you to uninstall Adobe Acrobat Reader. You can replace it with Foxit Reader (http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader/download.php) or any of the free readers here (http://pdfreaders.org/).

After that give me one more log as you have some minor corporate spyware left.

In the mean time I would change any on-line passwords you have used on this PC. Be especially careful if you have done on-line banking. I would also monitor any credit cards used for on-line purchases in he last week or so.

First:

How to run a scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here (http://www.besttechie.net/tools/mbam-setup.exe) or Here (http://www.majorgeeks.com/Malwarebytes_Anti-Malware_d5756.html)

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.[/QUOTE]

Second:

Now run Combofix...follow the instructions, exactly.

Please do the following:

Download this file - combofix.exe (http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe) to your Desktop (it needs to be run from the Desktop). Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
When finished, it will produce a log for you.

Note:

Do not mouseclick Combofix's window while it is running. That may cause the program to stall...

Third:

IN THE ORDER LISTED BELOW

Re-boot the system
Post the Combofix Log
Post the MBAM log
Post a new HJT log

Now I think something is not right. I downloaded and installed MBAM but it will not run. I restarted the system and it still will not run however everything else runs normally. Any suggestions?

This also does not work. Further, I noticed that occasionally when I reboot the system normally, it takes forever for the login window to appear. The first time I noticed it I disconnected the power from the computer after about 4 hours had passed I had to go to work and came back and it was still not loaded. I disconnected my ethernet cable from the computer and tried again and the system restarted just fine. It also restarts as it should in safe mode, presumably because the internet connection gets disabled in safe mode. Now what? I have yet to run combofix... Here is the latest HJT log for reference...

Finally, the system seems to be running as it should, including booting up in less than a minute in normal mode like it used to...

Humor me and run the F-secure on line scanner (http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml). You need to use Internet Explorer. Post the results along with a new HJT log and a description of how the system is running.
