OK this one's for the gamer gurus...Interested in saving my Final Fantasy VIII playstation game to a dexdrive and then while in limbo on the net (or on my pc) somehow save this progress so I can finish the game on the PC. I have the PC game discs and FFVIII installed on the PC. Is this possible. It is a desparate attempt to get over on playing from scratch and still enjoy the better video quality on the PC version. Squaresoft claims the game is the same on both systems except for a small side quest with Chocobo's. Anyone ever do this? I believe the file formats are gonna be the stumbling block. I don't have the details with me now (don't even know what file types the FFVIII is on the PC or PSX. Any takers?
