1. ebay
2. removed from box--don't care what they give for an excuse; its an open box
3. i know nothing about this company that you keep posting about. If you know they're reputable, bully for you. I don't. If i deal with a mom&pop PC shop, they're going to be close enough for me to get my hands around their throat when they try to screw me over.

Thats three strikes for me. As far as i'm concerned, they're out.

While the 4850 is a pretty decent lower mid-range card it is by no means EXTREME. ;)

If you were to add a second one in Crossfire then you would be doing pretty good, particularly if they were the 1GB version. Still nothing extreme about that machine though. Maybe the 8GB ram, but then it's still only DDR2-800.

I will give them that compared to what most companies would call an "extreme gaming system" it is better. You would likely see a 4350 or 9550GT or the like in those so called gaming rigs. :p

try your luck on Cyberpower (http://www.cyberpowerpc.com), they have some good pre-builts for a decent price and you can customize them to your liking.

I.E. - Their i7 configurator (http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/system/Intel_Core_i7_Configurator/) It's 3gb ddr3 1333 ram, i7-920 (2.66ghz), and it's pre-spec'd with a geforce 9500gt and a 3-way SLI Asus P6T Intel X58 MoBo, but as i said, click the link for the configurator, then click Customize and you can edit anything. The default cost for that listing of parts is $785, just check it out for yourself.

Go with a 940BE system but get some some PC8500 RAM instead of the PC6400.
Buy it from Newegg or other reputable distributor though :).

Cyberpower is a good company, i have a few friends now that have ordered from them and all of them have had no issues what so ever with their PCs, the ordering process, shipping, or customer service. It may not be as popular as newegg, but they should be IMO, they have a good thing going for people who don't wanna build their PC from the ground up.

I recommend you to build it yourself rather than getting a prebuilt one. It's easy and we are here to help you.
Remember: You cannot overclock prebuilts as the overclocking options are locked in the BIOS.

And the HD4850 is outdated, get something better like GTX295 to call it a extreme gaming PC

well we gotta know what his price range is of course, so the 295 might be outta his range, but they do have the GTX 260's down to 169.99 free shipping on newegg; I just ordered mine last night.

At any rate I was under the impression that he just wanted to buy a pre-built so he wouldn't have to build it on his own but yea we'd be more than happy to help you build one.
