Generally speaking, if it works don't bother getting new drivers.
Have you tried System Restore to before you installed the driver?
Start=> All Programs=> Accessories=>System Tools=>System Restore.
To be safe, if you're not sure, restore to the last date before you installed the driver, e.g. if it was installed on the 28th go back to the 27 or whichever the next earlier one is.

but the button was grey outWhich button? Which Operating System?

Is the drive visible in Device Manager and are there any problem devices showing in Device Manager?

It's just possible that you might need fix the "upperfilter/lowerfilter problem (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060)" but the fix can be OS specific.

I have window vista installed...the drive does show in the device manager with exclamation on it...the error message are as follow "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" the grey button i was talking about is the "roll back driver"

If I do the system restore will it delete all program that i installed after that day? thanks

That's good news.

If I do the system restore will it delete all program that i installed after that day?Just FYI, System Restore is supposed to leave a user's data and programs intact but it is a crude tool and I have known certain stuff disappear from the Desktop or become non-functional and so on. If that did happen - and you had enough space available to hold a number of restore points - you should still be able to reverse the restore to the situation before you ran the System Restore.

The only real way to maintain complete irreversible and exact snapshots of a system is to make verified image files on removable media at pertinent intervals and especially before making any major changes. The other thing that cannot be overstated is to backup your data and also to backup your data and also to ...

You never know when disaster will strike from any of a number of directions.
