PC Stuck when start

dear friends
my pc is stuck when i power on pc. its show only motherboard screen and stuck only nothing happen. and first screen is show motherboard name on screen but its also not clear. display white line on half screen. so pls tell me solution for that

my pc configuration
intel mother and processor
ram 512
hdd 40 gb
cd rom

You could try removing the HDD cables and see if you can get a POST beep (any beeps just now) or boot to a bootable floppy diskette. Othewise try a barebonesboot (http://paulski.com/zpages.php?id=1718) to troubleshoot.
