I am a PC desktop technician but have very llittle exp.with laptops. I am trying to use a serial to USB adautpter with a Palm IIIx on a Toshiba Satelite 1715xcds.The device installs correctly,but simply will not work!!
Everytime I try to do a hot sync operation,the communication with the computer is "lost". I have had no trouble with this on any other desk top PCs but the laptop just doesn't want to allow the flow of data using the USB port. Any Ideas????
