processer HELP plz!!

hello ther im a newb big gammer and after seeing CRYSIS i had to build a pc this is my first build and i want to know what processer is better i would like to play a game CRYSIS AND BE ABLE TO MINMIZE AND SURFF THE WEB AMD Phenom 8750Toliman 2.4GHz vs THE AMD Athlon 64 X2 7750 2.7GHz like i said i like to surff the web and play games and a little more so the way i looked at it 3 cores better then 2 cores so plz replay as soon as u can cuz im ordering from new egg as i speak lol thx every one im new to this site just signed up.

For gaming its more about the VCard than the processor. For swapping between game and web pages, I usually find the fault is a lack of RAM, not CPU when I discuss system specs.

But to answer your question: dependant on the age of your system, either will do. If you intend this to be a quick swap, I'd take the Athlon. Its cheaper; nuff said. The Phenom 1.0 series was a bit of a bust.

Of course, from the way you make things sound, you probably already bought one or the other. I hope your choice fixes your problem.
