I was planning to purchase a laptop from the Brand 'Dell'.I was little worrying about the configuration,because some people say Dual core processor is best where some advice me core 2 duo is best.Along with this message I have attached my configuration,please give your advice to go for the best.

Core2duos are better than anything with pentium in the name. What is your budget? Dells are almost never as good as you can do in terms of price/preformance/quality. Btw that system uses ancient tech dont buy it.

Hi there,

The dell's configuration was pretty good enough. I would suggest that instead of Vista use XP3 or windows 7 if available. Vista takes huge amount of ram say 2 GB, so your PC might not perform as it is required to.

Better a Core 2 Duo if the price difference is negligible. Dell usually offers 5 year warranty on its notebooks in my country. So i think some models are worth the price.
