Hi,

I've recently been having major issues with my Fatal1ty headset, or rather, the soundcard. The thing is, I am not sure where the problem is.

Sometimes, every 2 hours or so, when I am playing a game, my sound suddenly out of nowhere starts to dive into low-pitched deeper and deeper, and when it's reached the "bottom", the sound turns into very high-pitched smurf voices (if I'm on ventrilo) and continues to be smurf voices for a while, before it starts to sink again into the deep low-pitched, and then returns to smurf voices..

Now, my headset is an USB headset, so I have to close down Ventrilo, TAB out of the game and pull the USB out of the plug and put it in again before it works normally for atleast a few hours.

Anyone experienced similar problems? I'd love assistance, thank you.

does it happen with any set of speakers/headphones? it's an easy test as any headset or speakers should work.

It's not happened with my speakers before, and as I said, the problem solves itself when I replug my headset.

And it's only a temporary solution.
