If I have a motherboard that supports UDMA 33, will a UDMA
66 hard drive work in it? I think it will, but at 33.

Hi 4thandgoal,
UDMA-66 Is backward compatible with UDMA-33 although you will only be able to operate in UDMA-33 mode,if you would like the UDMA-66 speeds you could get a PCI UDMA-66 controller card if you have a free slot.
Hope this helped http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks for the help Sleddog and Bongman. I had not thought about a PCI controller card.
