I have a problem with my PC when you switch it on there appears to be no connection to the monitor. I have tried various different video cards but to no avail. Can you help at all?
test the monitor on a known to work computer. if the monitor works fine, try a different cable.

You need to completely uninstall the driver and then remove the video card from device manager and allow windows to re-detect it....

Unfortiunately the PC doesn't boot up therefore I can't uninstall the driver. I cannot get any signal from the PC to the monitor.

Make and model of PC or motherboard please? Also which operating system?
Is the card PCI/PCIe/VGA etc and does the PC give any beeps at start-up? A BareBonesBoot (http://www.paulski.com/zpages.php?id=1718) might help locate the problem device which might or might not be the video card.
Do you know if on-board video is an option or indeed whether there is any hope of entering the BIOS setup - probably not? What colour is the LCD on the monitor - does it flicker at all or does it not even come on at all?
