At system boot up, my PC stops and indicates "Sec Slave Drive - ATAPI Incompatible, Press F1 to resume". How do I eliminate this message or error everytime I boot my PC?

A bit more info would help greatly...Machine specifics and Operating System...
Just taking a guess, but it sounds like it's seeing a non ATAPI CD ROM drive. That would mean your CD ROM is a Panasonic or Sony interface, which must be plugged into a controller on the sound card, not the onboard IDE controller where the ATAPI CD ROM would be installed.
To be sure, and offer better advice, we need some system info. Open the case and copy the name and model of the CD ROM drive if you can, that would help as well.
