Hi, I have recently overclocked my machine from 2.4Ghz to 3.2Ghz. I let the voltages stay at 'auto' for now and was going to stress test my machine overnight. I have 1066 DDR2 GSkill memory and had it in 1:1 ratio. Multiplier was set to 9 and FSB was 356.

I started prime95 last night at around 1am and was monitoring my temps for the first couple runs. I was pretty high around 55degrees per core at first and they went up to around 65degrees while I was watching in around 30mins. I woke up this morning and noticed my whole computer was shutdown. It booted right back up and told me it unexpectedly shutdown but no error messages were reported by Windows for me to view.

Should I be worried about this? Just to be safe I lowered the OC to 3.0Ghz with memory in 5:6 ratio. Thanks

Ok, just an update to my problem and question....

I talked to my wife and found out our power went out last night which explains most everything.

Here is my two new questions. My RAM is 1066 but with FSB of 333 it will run 1:1 at 666. Is it worth it to bump my RAM speed up to 800 or 1066?

Second question is: what temps should I be under for CPU and each core?

Right now I am running Prime95 and my temps are:
CPU - 52 degrees
C1 - 60
C2 - 59
C3 - 59
C4 - 60

Thanks again for the help!
