Only thing I can find is at Wim's BIOS (http://www.ping.be/bios/) in the FAQ that says most BIOS flash utilities give you an option to save your existing BIOS to a floppy so in case you have problems, you can replace the old BIOS.

I tried both of them but unfortunately they did not help me how to save the BIOS.

HEY THERE HOOSHANG,
I THINK YOU WILL FIND WITH THIS PROBLEM THAT THE CMOS SETTINGS OF YOUR COMPUTER AND THE ACTUALL BIOS ARE TWO SEPERATE THINGS, THE BIOS AND CMOS ARE BOTH STORED ON SEPERATE CHIPS WITHIN THE MOTHERBOARD, THEREFORE YOU CAN ONLY BACK UP OR FLASH YOUR BIOS AND NOT YOUR CMOS... THE CMOS ACTUALLY CONTROLS THE SETTINGS SENT TO YOUR BACKUP MEMORY FOR BOOTING AND CONFIGURATION PURPOSES, AND THIS IS PRE-SET IN THE FACTORY FOR THE TYPE OF MOTHERBOARD YOU ARE RUNNING. ONCE YOU HAVE THE SYSTEM RUNNING OF COURSE THIS IS WHY YOU CAN JUMP INTO THE CMOS SETTINGS AND CHANGE THINGS WHENEVER YOU ADD HARDWARE AND UPGRADE THINGS, IT IS ALL STORED IN YOUR BACKUP MEMORY WHICH IS CONTROLLED BY YOUR BOARDS BATTERY. SO THERE IS NO WAY OF COPYING YOUR CMOS OTHER THAN DOING IT THE GOOD OLD FASHINED WAY http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif THAT IS TO PHYSICALLY GO INTO EVERY SECTION AND WRITE DOWN ALL YOUR SETTINGS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING OR IF YOU JUST WANT TO HAVE A COPY....
HOPE THIS HELPS, SEE YA ALL LATER..

Thanks, 2NDDAN.
I think you are right and yes I wrote CMOS data on a paper which could be used later on, I mean if required, and trying to find a reliable program to enable me to save the BIOS setting which I know is different with CMOS settings, but I still thank you for your info.

Hi
2nddan, i too beg you to turn caps locks off, but more importantly, you are using two terms loosely.
BIOS is software/firmware.(Basic Input Output System)
CMOS is a piece of hardware.(Complimentary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)
Your settings for the BIOS are saved to the CMOS.
You dont save your CMOS, you save your BIOS parametes to the CMOS.
Anyway i suggest the good 'ol fashioned pen and paper method myself, but i know for sure there are utilities that can do this for you. I do not however know of any specific programs. Laters...

HELLO GUYS,
sorry for the mistake of my typing in these forums, yes i know all caps is considered shouting in chat rooms and the like, however did not realize it was the same for here. I will have to watch myself from now on. Anyhow I am glad to have found this site and forum, it looks pretty good and I can only hope somewhere along the way I may be able to help others.
Catch ya all later..
