The two most common problems are if any of the wires from the front panel to the mobo have been dislodged or if the sound management has disabled those ports in software.

Some systems detect when you plug in and remove plugs and if so that can be helpful. Entering dxdiag into the run box opens the DirectX diagnostic tool from which it can help by testing sound and music.

it was working before i reset my bios

Then it must be on the cards it has been disabled there. How hard have you looked through the BIOS setup?

Look in Device Manager and make sure all usb devices are enabled by right clicking on them selecting properties and selecting enable.

What motherboard are you using? Is it a brand name computer? You also may need to go back into your BIOS and re-enable the front ports as Paul K has already suggested.

Hi Yash 1705.

Please, could you post your solution so that others may learn from.

I'm assuming the BIOS setting, but...
