Can someone recommend an Internet Connection Sharing Software that is easy to setup for a 3 computer LAN. At one time I had the ICS that came with Windows 98 up and running. The host computer crashed and I haven't been able to get the setup running smoothly ever since. I don't have a real extensive networking background so I'm looking for something kinda simple. There I said it!!!! Paleo Pete what you do suggest?

I have three PC on a LAN it was simple to do with Wingate Version 3. I set it up again the other day and it does it all for you, or at least it did for me. But, you have to have your Network Neighbohood up and running and see all three machines, or at least the #1 PC. If that works, then it a cinch to install.

I am pretty sure that there is an article on www.annoyances.org (http://www.annoyances.org) that will tell you step-by-step how to set up ICS under Win98. I use it myself with little difficulty, though using two PCs.

I'm all set as far as all three computers seeing each other on the network neighborhood. As I mentioned, I did at one time have the ICS running using the Windows 98 software, but then the host (my computer) crashed and I haven't been able to get back at that point. I kept getting an error about there were no computers on the link. I must have installed and deleted and reinstalled the ICS about 10 times. So I gave up--now I need to move on and try somethng else. Paleo Pete, my question to you is there a fee for the Winproxy 3.0? Actually, I was thinking about downloading the trial version.
Thanks

I'm sorry, I misread your note. Is there an amount attached to the Wingate Version 3?

I'll agree with Deebdee, Wingate seems to have a very good reputation. Don't know about the price...
