Site also requires MS Silverlight to be installed just to view the page.
Site hosted by Bradley and Montgomery, not Microsoft.
Complete downloads only count if going through Bradley and Montgomery's site.
$1.25 donation per download.
Is this the site?

Sounds like a scam to me... I would much rather use the Hunger Site which doesn't require that I install more software and go through a site with unclear intentions to make that donation:

I click on each of those tabs each day...

Budfred,
I would like to assure you that you're making a difference by downloading IE8 through browserforthebetter
Microsoft will be donating an amount of money equivalent to 8 meals per download (up to $1,000,000) to the organization Feed America. The Feeding America network secures and distributes more than 2 billion pounds of donated food and grocery products annually, and supports approximately 63,000 local charitable agencies that distribute food directly to Americans in need. Your site will not even let me in unless I install some other software and there is NO WAY that I will do that... I again caution people to be careful about this deal, both because of the hidden catches in the offer and the fact that many other sites allow the possibility of donating without any strings attached... If you continue to post links to your site in spite of the hidden steps required to access it, you will be considered a SPAMmer...

Budfred, thanks for brining to my attention that you were having trouble accessing the site. I'm sorry for the inconvience, of it saying that you have to download silverlight. Silverlight IS NOT required to view the site, it is supposed to revert to html if you don't have silverlight.
Many people can access the site without silverlight and without downloading it, however we realize some people aren't able to access the site without it. I uninstalled silverlight and I was able to access it.
The sites developers are at work on the problem now and the issue should be resolved by Monday. I hope that you will give it a shot then, its for a great cause.
Again, sorry for the site issues,
Nate
