How can I find out the last date and time a filed has been opened/viewed?

Hi Choco,

Go to Start/Find. On the Name & Location tab, you will have the option of naming the file that you are curious about. Type it in and click Find. It will show you the file in the bottom window and details as to where it's located, and last time accessed, I think.

Or, if you don't know the name of the file, you can go to the second tab, Date Modified. Enter a range and click Find. In the bottom window you will see all files that of course have been modified within the time frame you set.

If you right click on any file and then left click on Properties you will see date created= when 1st saved or created, date modified= last time file was viewed/changed, and accessed= now. Get it? http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif
