Adobe Reader Updates

I've installed the 9.1.2 patch three times already, and yet, every time I open Reader, it tells me to download and install the 9.1.2 patch. The patch shows up in Add/Remove Programs as well as in the About Reader option in the menu bar.

Has anyone noticed that the Adobe Reader update from 9.0 to 9.1 is 35.5 MB, while the actual 9.1 installer is only 25.5 MB. I wonder what the other 10 MB is for.

Foxit runs circles around Adobe! Opens quicker, does as much or more esp, considering the free aspect! :p Add-obe wants money for things Foxit gives away...

If I weren't waiting around hoping the next edition of Reader would open my e-books, I'd have scrapped it ages ago.

Adobe bashing aside, does anyone know why the Reader 9.1.2 patch doesn't take? Or do I chalk it up to a bug in the installer?
