Hi Everyone,

I've got aan 8gig hdd which is formatted, i'd like to install it as a slave which i'm fairly confident in doing the problem is is that the hdd has 3 partitions on it i'd like to remove these and and just leave one big space (i hope that sound right)i don't have any utillities such as partition magic so i'm wondering if there is another way to do this maybe using fdisk?

any replies gratfully received

Alan

Yes, You can so it with the fdisk that comes on a win98 boot disk. It will ask if you want to "enable large disk support" choose "yes" and you can create a partition that contains all 8GBs of space on that hard drive. Of course you'll lose any data that was there before.

Hope this helps http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
