I also get the same problem...Im not as computer smart as these ppl but no matter what game i play I can't do anything...I tryed playing PWI (Perfect World International) and it will crash as soon as the character creation page comes up if i window mode it and keep it half the size of my monitor it runs GREAT even at max settings...I recently formatted my computer and just finished updating windows/DirectX9.0/my graphics card ...to be honest thats all i know to update...im not even sure what else I should update...

this problem has been bugging me FOREVER! I have tryed playing other games even ones with bad graphics and i still get the same problem
PLEASE HELP!!! ...thx guys
EDIT: Oh...I almost forgot...I have cleaned out the inside...NO DUST BUNNIES!! and have even taken a fan and put it next to it...and even put it around the vent but to no success I still have all the same problems...it takes less than a second to crash
