Outlook Express

Received an e-mail on Outlook express,(an advertisement)

can't simply right click and delete it,have
to turn off the computer to get out of that
screen how can I eliminate this e-mail???

Turn off the "preview". ( go to the "view" menu choose "layout" and turn off all preview settings) You should now be able to highlight the offending email and delete.

Try highlighting the offending e-mail and then pressing the Delete key.
