I have put together a new computer kit (bare bones) and it boots up, but my monitor doesn't get a signal. I have power for everything, including the monitor, but it says "NO signal." Any ideas of what I have to adjust?
Thanks!

OK, here's my info:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Processor ADX6000IAA6CZ - 3.0GH (LOVE AMD!)
MSI K9N6PGM2-V Motherboard
Kingston 1024MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory
I'm trying to install OS, but no commuincation between my monitor and system.
Do you see the bios or anything?
Reseat the graphics card. if that doesn't work, one thing that I would do is I would take out everything non-essential. Graphics card, RAM, ECT (basically, the small speaker that plugs right into the mother board, the PSU, and the Motherboard is left.) If you are getting beeps, plug in the Ram and check. add the graphics card and check. and then the hard drive and check, and so forth till it's running. If something isn't working, you will get a different beep.
When working on my first build, I had a Phenom 9950 120 watt and the board I had only supported the 140 watt or some stupid thing like that. I got no video signals. I would check compatibility as well.

OMG - I can't believe that I posted this! I am so embarrassed. I had to switch my monitor to my graphics card. That was it ... so simple.
My excuse is that it was late and I needed to load software. Have done some of that now.
Still working on transferring files, etc.
THANKS for all the responses!
