This is probably a really easy one but I'm stumped as what to do.
How do you remove stored URL's from the pull-down address bar in your browser? I'm using Internet Explorer with Windows '98 SE.
I have a bunch of URL's that don't go anywhere or that I don't use. I use my 'favorites' area more than my pull-down add. bar anyhow. Is there a way to clear it or at least remove one URL at a time?
Thanks!

If I recall correctly the dropdown list is cleared when you clear the history -- on the menu, Tools > Internet Options, click the "Clear History" button.

Thanks Sleddog, you ol' Canadian Comrade, you!! I can't believe it was as simple as that! Where would I be without cha? Probably stuck with a list a mile long in my address bar! Now, I've gotta get the wife to stop using that bar to type in her URL's!! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Just a quick fancy thing
When typing URLs you do not have to type out the whole lot
ie www.beginpc.com (http://www.beginpc.com)
just type beginpc and then press Control and enter together, and the rest is put in for you.
Full of useless knowledge.
