View Full Version : KT7 M/b. Do I need to add any drivers?

Hi.

I will be building a new system soon with a 900 Thunderbird on an Abit KT7 Board. To get the best out of the board, do I need to install any bus drivers? If so are there any upgraded ones from those which will (I assume) be shipped with the board?

These CD's come with so much stuff on them, but I have no idea if it's something that's going to be needed or not.

Thanks for the anticipated help.

Here's a good site that I found while looking up another problem.

FAQ (http://www.icrontic.com/faqs/kt7faq/kt7faq.htm)

It should have the answer.

Abit has a good web site with the latest drivers which are necessary to make the mobo humm. I wouldnt suggest flashing the bios tho except if you have probs with the setup and dont do it unless you are comfortable with the instructions.
