I recently purchased an Infrasonic Quartet sound card. It is my first "professional" card. I have my speakers hooked up to the card and can hear music through Itunes e.t.c.
I use a program called Guitar Pro. This program plays midi and has tablature that you can read to play your instrument and learn songs and such. In the preferences section of this program you need to select a midi output device. There are two options: Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth, and Quartet Midi (my card). I can hear the MIDI if I have Wavetable selected, but not if I have Quartet Midi selected. I don't know if its a routing issue, as there is this piece of software the card came with that lets you route signal to different places. But I dont see why that would be the problem because when I had my old Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card I would select it and boom that was it.
So this is the problem I am having. I already contacted the manufacturer, but have not heard a reply, so I am coming here for some advice. I appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thank you.
