I want to upgrade my PC ram whose configuration is P4 2.6 Ghz 256Mb RAM 266Mhz to atleast 1Gb in RAM
My previous RAM was of HYNIX and of following specifications
IT HAS 184 PIN RAM
PC2100U-25330 0402
HYMD232646A8-H
256MB DDR 266 Mhz CL2.5

Any DDR RAM should fit your PC so the sloppy answer is to tell you to grab some half gig sticks of DDR 184 pin 266 MHz.
Motherboard model required for best answer. i don't know how much memory your system can support.
Click Start, then Run. In the box that opens type dxdiag. This opens the directx diagnostic tool. Give us all the information on the System tab (system information middle of the tan screen). this will not compromise your system in any way but will give us the answers we need to give you the best possible information for your upgrade.
