Curious but recently my wifes email program, yes she uses ATT/Yahoo mail,
has started when she attempts to send an email, stops and brings up a silly box with letters and this message: character string verification technology developed in collaboration with the Captcha Project at Carnigie Mellon University.Send verify application. Then you type in the letters you see and it then sends the email. Doesn't do it all the time, just certain emails. This is as I understand it an attempt to get rid of spam. My question relates to are we sure this isn't something that is downloaded on the computer? The reason I ask this is when I access the same account from my computer I have not had that problem. I have a separate Yahoo mail account, not ATT/YAHOO and have never experienced that type of response. Anyone have any thoughts besides the one I am sure we will get and that is change email accounts which will be done if this continues?
