I have seen programs advertised that claim to analyze all hardware and let you know what drivers you need or need to update. Is there one that anyone would recommend? I ran Advisor on a system but it didn't see any display, mulitmedia, or ethernet, all the things that need drivers. System is running 2000. (limited hard drive and RAM)

I have the components ID'ed now (THANKS) but need to find drivers. I used to use driverguide but now it won't proceed beyond the sign up for their special offer for Premium content. Is there another driver site out there? S3 did not have the driver I needed, too old I guess.

On the bottom of their offers, DriverGuide usually has a little "skip offer' link.

123456 is correct.

If using Firefox or similar, you need to allow scripting and popups and as the offers appear 1 after another, you can click whatever is under it such as: `Not this time, next offer` link for about 8 different offers until it reaches where the download link is.

It is how the site is paid for, with paying advertisers making sure you at least see their ads. If you have script blocking enabled, you won`t see the `next link` button.
