New Computer! first gaming computer

I am in the process of looking for a decent gaming computer and have found one that i think is pretty good and i was just wondering how good the video card is. it is a ATI Radeon HD 4870 and i dont know anything about video cards.

A 4870 is great, but I bought a really cheap one, and used the extra money to upgrade.
