I'm connecting the hard drive LED, Power LED, Power Switch, and so on to the motherboard. Each connecter has a white wire. The rest of the wires are different colors. Is the white wire the ground wire, or positive wire? Thanks.

As long as you connect the correct leads to the correct posts on the mobo, it doesnt matter which way you put em on......I've never worried about it. The one for speaker has more than one wire and either way you put it on....it works http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I think the colored wire is usually the positive, or "hot" wire, and white is usually ground. Positive should usually go to pin #1 on the connector.
Some of those LED wires will work either way, some will not. If you turn on the computer and the LED or speaker won't work, turn the wire around.
