Whilst making a post elsewhere, I fumbled on a backspace operation and hit both the Backspace and F12 keys.

An application popped up that showed just the HTML tagging in a left panel and had an empty right panel (a console). The menu offered various coding tools for HTML, CSS, Scripting and Profiling, along with validation.

I don't know what that app is and wonder if it embedded in IE8 or if it is something else I may have installed? Looks interesting though.

nice find. Thanks for sharing.

This is for web developers. This is great for people who are hard coding their web pages. It's almost like the Web Developer plugin in Firefox.

You can use it to change the behavior of a page without actually modifying the page on the web host (chage css, html, scripts). If you mess the page up, you can just refresh the page to return the page to its original form.

It looks like this is just for IE. not sure if it's available with IE7. I have IE8 and it popped up on mine.
