Take back cover off an LCD display?

I have a Dell w1700 lcd/monitor how do you take the back panel off? My Dell w1700 lcd/monitor has power but doesn't show anything on the screen i have been told that it is either/or the fuses and capacitors blew and I was starting to take the back panel off but it feels like its going to break can someone assist me in taking this apart and replacing them. Please help?

You can test the power adapter for output voltage with a meter, but you don't have any user serviceable items inside the LCD monitor itself.
If the AC power goes directly into the monitor there are no serviceable items inside the monitor.
