I have a pc that i recently purchased that has ECC memory in it. I use this pc for minor gaming, web & graphic design, and web browsing. I have been told that the ECC memory may actually slow the performance of those programs down so I have been considering changing the pc from using ECC memory to regular memory (I think called DDR ram).
My question is, "Is this a hard process or can I just replace the ECC ram chips with regular ram chips."
Im not highly computer tech literate but I know a little.
thank you in advance for your response
