Let me start off with hello to everyone in this forum. I have a problem that I hope is very easily answered by people in this forum. I have an old computer that I would like to turn into a dedicated server or dedicated proxy server. I have already installed windows 2000 pro onto that computer, which I dont know if I really needed to or not. I have cable modem with 2 computers already hooked on to the service with three ip addresses. So my question is how do I go about setting up the third computer to be a dedicated server that will jumble up the ip addresses as the other two computers are surfing the net? I am really new to all this networking stuff, so please try to explain to me in lament terms http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif. Or if there are any sites that I can go to that have detailed instruction as to how to set this up, thanks in advance. If anyone who are willing to help me, and need more info, please feel free and ask. I really want to set this up so I would welcome all the help possible.

Check my site, posted in my signature, I have a few links with basic info on small home networks. Google (http://www.google.com) is a pretty good search engine that should turn up quite a few links if you search for networking, I'm pretty sure you should be able to find some sites with more in-depth information.
