Issues with RegCleaner 4.3

I have had the 4.3 version Jouri Vuoria (free from MajorGeeks) installed for some time and it never gave me an issue. But lately it refuses to give a list under the Uninstall Tab.

After attempting this several times I decided to uninstall it and then reinstall. However, I then received the warning that I did not have permission because I didn't have administration rights which would explain why it wouldn't give me the Uninstall list.

Any ideas on how either I can regain administrative rights or uninstall said program? I've tried the uninstaller provided by both Windows and CCleaner.

Unfortunately, it may have caused your problem...losing rights is often caused by a 'reg tweak' gone wrong (other causes can be an infection).

Can you run RegEdit?

If not, then it may be an infection...same with the SysInfo tool and several other MS native tools.

What version of Windows? SP number? latest updates?

Windows XP Pro with SP3. I have all the latest updates and I can run RegEdit.
