How can check System of a assembled pc ( Pii)?
whether processor is normal or overclock ?
Whether Ram is comaptiable to processor ?
And in general

The main place to check you system would be in BIOS.
To get into BIOS press the DEL key during startup.
But be very carefull what you do in BIOS as your actions could have dire consequences.

Actually, the ONLY way to tell if your CPU is overclocked is to open the case........pull out the cpu and LOOK at it! Then you post up the computer(hit del key when it first comes on) and pause the screen that tells you what cpu is detected......if they match, then it is correctly clocked. As far as RAM compatiblity, if it works and boots to windows and to programs, its OK http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Hey Randy...get some sleep bud!!

It's the [Pause] key that holds the screen so you can read it, [Delete] usually plunks you down in BIOS...

Intel has a free CPU ID program that works with newer processors. It identifies the processor, its factory speed and its current speed (along with other info). If the speeds don't match it gives a 'WARNING! Processor is overclocked!' message (or words to that effect). I don't have a link at hand or the prog installed on this AMD machine, but if anyone's interested I can get more specifics later (my Intel machine is at different location).

[Minutes later]

I found the link pretty easy: http://support.intel.com/support/processors/tools/frequencyid/

But it doesn't support frequency ID reporting for the PII.
