Recovering Windows Vista CD-key after Windows 7 upgrade

Heya!

I installed the Windows 7 RC1 upgrade on my Windows Vista system, foolishly unaware that it would be nigh-on impossible to uninstall Windows 7. I have my Windows Vista CD, but I have lost the box, thus the CD-key is missing.

The question is - is it possible to find out my original Windows Vista CD-key through Windows 7? Is it stored somewhere?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could try MagicJellyBean (http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/) which would have been good for Vista pre-upgrade. What happens after an upgrade I just don't know.

Belarc (http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html) can often get a lot of such information as well.
