If I delete all the winrar files - those that I've used the winrar program to unscramble - will deleting affect the programs I installed using the unscrambled files? Not sure if I am being clear enough here or not. If not, please request further clarification.
A speedy reply will be greatly apreciated.

Once you have installed a program you can delete any installer file or files and/or the zip/rar file that contained the installer. If you think you might need them again in the future (in order to reinstall) then consider backing them up somewhere before deleting them. Some unzipped archives do not contain an installer and just run from where the were unpacked or copied. Those files shouldn't be deleted (though the rar file still can be deleted) but generally speaking windows uses a setup.exe or .msi installer to run the installation of the program in question.
PS I always keep all my old installer files or their zip/rar containers. Sometimes, for example, newer versions may no longer be free or contain bugs or embellishment bloats and so forth that were non-existent on the originals.
