trying to install medevil 2 on a laptop, the computer will not read the disk. i put the disk into other computers and it picks it up right away. i have checked the antivirus to see if its blocking it, its not causing any issues. the only thing that i can think of right now is the check the registry to see if there is anything left over from when it was previously installed. anyone got any other ideas let me know

Umm...it was installed previously? Same disc?

It uses SafeDisc copy protection, which is known to cause problems with reinstalls (among other things). So, yes there is a very good chance that there is something in the registry preventing it from being installed.

What version of Windows?
